Hats off to Kailey Sage!

So Kailey has been terrified of big roller coasters ever since we took her to Disneyland when she was four. She wanted to go on splash mountain. Now remember Kailey has always been a tall kid and at four was tall enough to ride splash mountain. I wasn't so sure about it but decided to let her go on it anyway. That was a mistake. She was terrified and traumatised. We couldn't even walk past splash mountain at that time without her freakin out. I wasn't sure she would ever ride again until Saturday. We went to Lagoon and the first ride we went on was the roller coaster. When we were going down the first hill I looked over at her and she had the look of shear panic and I thought to myself that it was going to be a long day. However half way through the ride it changed to a smile. So Kailey, I congratulate you for being so brave. You are awesome! I love ya kid!

Ra's Pick

For those of you that watch it's coming down to the top 4 on Thursday. I am so excited. Last week was awesome. Almost every dance was amazing. My favorite this week goes out to Comfort and Mark for their super cool hip hop!

This should be interesting.

Memory Lane... I got this from a friend's blog. I thought it would be fun! I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Weekly Fav

Ok I wasn't too impressed with most of the dances last week. One dance stood out. The Pas De Deux by Katee snd Will was powerful. They were amazing. I want to dance like that.

Oh I wish...

...I was on vacation. I have enjoyed my summer so far. It's been nice just relaxin' and chillin'. It's totally a perk for working in education. I feel refreshed and renewed. Now the only thing I need is to go on vacation. Only one problem. We don't have any planned. So I'll just blog about the last one I went on. (Don't worry Mel, we are still planning on coming to Kennewick sometime soon.) These are a few pics of our honeymoon. Clint and I went on a cruise to Mexico. It was a blast. I think we ate more than we should have. It never got as warm as I'd hope, but hey it was our honeymoon. We had a great time.

Ra's Weekly Pick

Here are my top 3 picks from So You Think You Can Dance.
The first is a Cha-Cha that was pretty sexy. Gev and Courtney were smokin"

I loved this dance that Katie and Joshua performed. I love how they brought culture to the show. This bollywood dance was very entertaining.

Now my favorite dance of the week was of course by Mark and Chelsea. My favorite couple performing my favorite style of dance, salsa. You can't beat that.

Happy Birthday Babe

Congrats for entering a new decade. I am so grateful for having Clint in my life. He is the most tender and sweet man and I am so lucky that we have each other. Here are my favorite things about Clint:

I love that he has a blue eye and a brown eye. My friend Robi said that was why we picked blue and brown for our wedding colors.

I love how he thinks he is the funniest man alive. He will crack a joke and the only reason I laugh is because he is laughing so hard. I love it.

I love when he laughs so hard he cries. It happens often. On our drive home from our honeymoon he was laughing so hard that he couldn't see the road and had to pull over so that we didn't die.

I love how giving he is. He always puts me first.

I love that he is so tender. There are moments when I look over at him and he is obviously touched by the simple truths in life.

I love that he does the laundry. Babe you rock!

I love how he loves babies. He wanted a honeymoon baby. He can't wait until there is a Boneck in the belly.

I love that he honors his priesthood.

I love when he talks baby talk to our kitty. It's so cute. He also tries to teach our kitty tricks like shaking hands. He taught her a trick that backfired. He would pat his hand on his legs and when she would jump on him he would give her a treat. However when she started attacking us when we were eating he decided that it wasn't such a good idea.

I love that he adores his family.

I love that he adores me and Kailey.

I love you Clint.

Happy Birthday!

Ra's Weekly Pick(s)

So I admit I am a geek and I live for So You Think You Can Dance. There were so many dances this week that I had a hard time picking my favorite. They are really in no particular order. I just really enjoyed them all. The first one is Twitch and Kherington dancing a Mia Michaels contemperary. I don't know what happens in Mia's head but her choreography is brilliant.

This one is a little scandalous. That's probably why I like it. Who knew that dancing with a shirt would work so well. Thank you for that dance Mandy Moore.

And last but not least my favorite couple Mark and Utah's own Chelsea. I love the chereography by Mandy Moore she is fantastic

It was so much fun having the Boneck clan come down. I didn't get any pictures of Claire and Bob. However they were just as much fun. I was great to see everyone. I just wish we all lived by each other. Who knows maybe soon. Luke and Mel the house behind is for sale. Sounds fun right?
